Annie & Adam

This is truly one beautiful couple! Annie and Adam were married a little over a year ago, but through Jennifer Skellet Photography, agreed to model for a styled shoot, focusing around blush and greenery. The styled shoot was great and we met with a lot of local vendors to come together and make this happen. Once being asked to participate in this styled shoot, we immediately got to work on the kind of gown we were wanting to make.

The Phoebe was born. She is a gorgeous, light weight Rayon Challis sheath gown, with a lace deep V-neck neckline, a keyhole back. This gown is paired well with an organza overskirt and silk twisted waist ribbon.

Annie came to the studio about 3 times to make sure that the gown was fitted properly to her, so that she could rock it like no other in the shoot. About a week before the shoot, Annie came back in for her final fitting. She lost some serious weight, about 9 lbs. doing the whole thirty diet. We were however, able to take the dress in, phew!

The day of the shoot came, and boy oh boy was it hot and humid. The shoot was in Rock Hill. SC at a Tizrah Farm. This setting was perfect for this shoot. Annie got all dolled up with hair and make up, by the fabulous Jesse Pellington. What a great job. Annie's makeup never faltered through the heat and humidity.

What I didn't know, is that Annie and Adam didn't have a good first look, so they were going to use this as a redo... how adorable! It was like watching it for the first time. Adam wasn't allowed to see Annie all made up and in the gown. We went outside, did a few gown shots and while he got ready in a separate room. When he was dressed to the nines, Annie patiently waited for her husband to round the corner. Talk about the goosebumps! Jennifer didn't even need to direct this couple on how to pose or on what to do, they just knew. Their instincts were crazy amazing and the emotions were running through the air... grab me a tissue!

I think the best part of this whole shoot, was hearing Annie talk about how much she loved the dress and wished that they could get married all over again, so she could wear it. Adam and Annie kept taking selfies and boomerang videos just so she could stay in it longer, despite the heat and bugs. There is something great about hearing a bride say she doesn't want to take off your gown. Makes you realize that you did something right and are doing what you are supposed to be doing in life.

Thank you Annie and Adam for doing such a wonderful job and showing off our Phoebe gown the way it was intended to. You both were such a breath of fresh air!
